Disorder By Design is a Heavy Metal Band out of Boston, Mass. They tear through one track after another, with Furious Groove based guitar riffs, and Lightning fast double bass. They top off their sound with driving, meaningful vocals and catchy hooks. Disorder By Design is a band not to be missed if you listen to Heavy Metal.

Disorder By Design was formed in January of 2003, when Derek, Mike and Steve, the founding members of the band, went looking for someone to front their new project (the then untitled "disorder by design"). After a few auditions they found exactly who they were looking for (their current front man Nick). The line up clicked and they quickly began to write songs. Armed with a demo they recorded 6 months later they set out to conquer New England. Continuous improvements in their playing, songwriting, and performing have earned them a rapidly growing fan base in the New England area, 80,000+ website hits per month, and global recognition through the internet. Disorder By Design has since gone on to open for a list of National Artists including Dope / Motograter / Unearth / 5 Bolt Main / Mushroomhead and Hell Within just to name a few. With the release of their full length album 2005's "Blood Enemy" the band hopes to gain National Status.

In the spring of 2006 Mike decided to leave the band to pursue other interests. Since Derek's primary instrument is the guitar he returned to his original set of strings and Terence joined DBD on bass. Terence brings ripping bass lines and many years of experience performing with such bands as Rebound Theory and Still Sinking.

As of June 2006, the new line-up is hitting practice hard and clicking well. They have some new tunes written and are ready to pick back up where they left off with a kick ass attitude.
